PRIVACY POLICY
We recognize that your privacy is of prime importance and want you to shop with confidence. We want you to buy with confidence and guarantee that your information will not be sold to third parties but will be used solely by our company. 
All personal and payment information submitted to ERIC PETERSEN remains secure at all times. Read the full policy in the PRIVACY POLICY section.

CURRENCY 
Unless otherwise specified, all prices, including prices published on our website, refunds and exchanges are expressed in Canadian dollars.  

ORDER PROCESSING
Thank you for viewing and selecting our items.  Once you have made your selection, click on the “add to cart” button. You will then be given the option to continue shopping or proceed to checkout.  When you are ready to check out, you will be prompted through the steps to complete your purchase.

While we will make every effort to send you your purchase quickly, it may take up to 2-8 weeks for your order to be processed and shipped, particularly for orders in advance of holidays and special occasions. Delays due to weather, labour disruptions within the postal systems and other events beyond our control may cause further unavoidable delays.

BACK ORDERS
If an item is on back order it may take 4-12 weeks before the item can be shipped. We will notify you if an item is on back order. In the event that one item on your order is on back order and the other items are in-stock, we will ship the in-stock items and send the back order as soon as it is available. We will notify you prior to shipping out the order.

PAYMENT FOR PURCHASES
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards. Payment is only debited from your card at time of dispatch. PayPal is the primary method of payment for all purchases. All major credit cards are accepted via PayPal.

TAXES
All applicable taxes will be charged for orders within Canada. Customers may be subject to import duties and taxes which are assessed once a shipment reaches your country. Any additional customs clearance charges must be paid by the customer. ERIC PETERSEN has no control over these charges.

SHIPPING OF YOUR PURCHASES
Each item will arrive in a soft fabric pouch or a box.
EricPetersenToronto.com offers delivery world-wide. Regular shipping is free for destinations in Canada.  For the United States, Europe and other international destinations, please contact us to arrange shipping of your order.
Once payment has been received for your purchases, your item(s) will be shipped via Canada Post, FedEx or other similar courier services.
EricPetersenToronto.com reserves the right to select the method of shipping.

RETURN POLICY
We accept returns for credit for items in unworn condition purchased through EricPetersenToronto.com within 10 days of receipt of the item. 

In order to send a return, you will need to contact us to obtain a return authorization number. No returns of online purchases, by mail or in person will be accepted without this return authorization number. 

All items with a return authorization number may be returned by shipping the item, at the customer’s expense, to our head office which we will provide for you through email. For your protection, please purchase insurance for every return and make certain that you are provided with a tracking number for the parcel. EricPetersenToronto.com and ERIC PETERSEN are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. We are not responsible for providing any insurance coverage for returned item(s). 

Please Note: The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returns and exchanges unless EricPetersenToronto.com has sent the incorrect item. For US returns kindly note that it is necessary to write on the exterior of the package “Return of Canadian Goods”. If this is omitted
you may be subject to additional duty, brokerage fees and taxes. All prices on return documents are to be expressed in Canadian dollars. 

Item(s) are to be returned in their original packaging with original documents. Item(s) are to be returned unworn with original tickets attached. 
ERIC PETERSEN retains the right to refuse to accept returns which show signs of wear.

Upon receipt of returned items, our workshop will inspect and verify the condition of the returned item(s). Returns take approximately 5-10 business days to process after receipt of the item. 
Items that are returned in good unworn condition, will be issued a store credit for the original retail price.  This credit may be used for purchases on-line or towards a custom commissioned piece by ERIC PETERSEN.

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS AND OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
You may only cancel an order via telephone or email up to the time the order is shipped. If the order has been processed and shipped you cannot cancel the order. You can only return the order for credit, as described in the “Return Policy” section, above. In the event that you place an order for an out-of-stock or out-of-production item, you will receive an email advising you of if/when we will be able to fulfill your order.

GUARANTEE
ERIC PETERSEN uses the best possible materials and employs quality local labour for the creation of our jewellery. We guarantee that pieces are manufactured with care and are carefully inspected before shipment.
We will repair or replace any defective pieces as a result of manufacturing, free of charge, for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This does not include items that have been misused and abused. Proof of purchase must accompany items being returned for warranty work. Shipping charges may apply. Please contact us for before shipping.

Unless otherwise noted, ERIC PETERSEN is the owner of all photographs and content published throughout the site.  All such property may not be downloaded, copied, reproduced or used in anyway without prior written consent.  However, if you’re in the punk rock spirit of “if you can’t afford this album, steal it”, then we would be most appreciative if you could at least give credit to where it is due by tagging us on social media, or including our name and website as the source for the image you are using.
